OH MY GOD, A FINISHED PIECE?! //the universe collapses//

This is Baron Vincent Von Ash, consort of my priest Steena Whitewind (a dragon).

I was thinking of giving him that wicked grin of his, one of his two trademarks more or less-but it never came out right. So I just dashed a line and went "eh", I can also get away with just doing this because he's been becoming more serious.

This was done with drawing a face style I am not used to, but so far I like doing it. Also trying some newish ways to color. Also a lesson learned that if I don't ~rush~ the picture to see it finished the final piece ends up way better than usual.


The clothes used to be purple and cream but 1) I hate doing light colors usually 2) I wanted the main attraction of the picture to be his face 3) the dark colors make the clothes seem better looking and less "I just slapped it on" 4) I'm not great at drawing clothes just yet.
